Rep. DeSana launches survey on foreign influence at Michigan universities

State Rep. James DeSana (R-Carleton) today launched a new survey asking residents whether Michigan should prohibit foreign governments from funding the state’s universities.

“Michigan should never become a target for foreign influence,” said DeSana. “The University of Michigan has accepted $76 million from the Chinese government, and that raises serious national security concerns. I want to hear directly from the people of Michigan about how we can best protect our state from threats like Communist China.”
